I believe I own the final White Sox gameworn No. 42 jersey.
I picked this gem up at a Sox charity sale in the late 1990s. I don’t remember the jersey being particularly expensive either.
This 42 was most likely worn by bust Scott Ruffcorn in 1996. However, the number was made famous in Sox history by the legendary Ron Kittle.
No. 42 will never be worn in Major League Baseball again as a tribute to Jackie Robinson. I wear this jersey every April 15 to honor Jackie.
